The Sedum 'Black Jack', 'Sedum 'Black Jack' PPAF, is a recent discovery at Walters Garden in Michigan. The stems and foliage are darker than most sedum in its family. It has 2' tall clumps of purple stems with black to purple foliage. With a plant height and width of 24", its 8" pink flower heads bloom in September, making a wonderful contrast with its foliage. Plant in full sun to part sun with other Sedum or Salvia, it also makes a wonderful border plant. Protected by Plant Breeder's Rights - propagation prohibited.

The Coneflower 'Twilight', 'Echinacea 'Twilight' PP17,651', is the third newest Echinacea in the Big Sky Series. The rose petals surround its red cone with a wonderful fragrance. 'Twilight' has a height of 24" and a plant spread of 18-24". For best results, plant in full sun and water moderately. 'Twilight' will bloom from June to August and is excellent as cut flowers or in mass plantings. 'Harvest Moon' is hardy and a vigorous grower. The Heuchera 'Plum Pudding'Ö, Heuchera x 'Plum Pudding'Ö, also known as a Coral Bell and Alumroot, has unique pewter gray and silver foliage with undercurrents of deep purple. In the spring time, small green and maroon flowers appear that last into the summer, however, Coral Bells are not known for their flowers, but their foliage. 'Plum Pudding'Ö has a plant spread of 18-24'¥ and a height of 12'¥. It is best to grow 'Plum Puddings'Ö in medium wet, well-drained soils, in full shade. (It can tolerate some morning sun.) 'Plum Pudding'Ö looks especially good around the edge of borders, near variegated plants, woodland edges, rock gardens, perennial borders, or in mass to form an attractive ground cover. The Geranium Jolly Bee, 'Pelargonium', a Proven Winners selection, has rich, deep-blue flowers with white eyes that bloom from June till August. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 12'¥ and a height of 8-12'¥. 'Jolly Bee'Ö needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. 'Jolly Bee'Ö Geranium, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon.For best results, plant in a dry to moist area in a well-drained site. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attaction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.

The Hibiscus 'Aquarian', is one of the most unique Hibiscus in the Fleming series. It has wonderful 12" lavender pink flowers with spoon-shaped, purple casted leaves. It is one of the shorter Hibiscus, standing 3' in height. The Flemings names this Hibiscus after the song 'Age of Aquarias'. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area and it will tolerate most soil types. 'Aquarian' looks wonderful with grasses, as a background plant or with Hibiscus 'Old Yella' and Hibiscus 'Torchy'. (PPAF)

The Hibiscus 'Crown Jewels', is the smallest of the Flemings series. With a plant height of 2' and 10" blooms, it is one not to miss. The creamy white flowers have red centers and dark violet 'maple-cut' leaves. All of these features make it one of the finest. 'Crown Jewels' took over 20 years to develop and refine the species and one can see why. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area and it will tolerate most soil types. 'Crown Jewels' looks wonderful with grasses, as a background plant or with Hibiscus 'Old Yells' and Hibiscus 'Torchy' or as an alternative plant to Hibiscus 'Disco Belles'. (UPSS 11,857 P2)

The Hibiscus 'Dream Catcher', stands 4' in height and bears a 12" flower that is extremely unique from all other Hibiscus on the market today. Its pale pink, quilted flowers remind one of a soft pillow and is aptley named. 'Dream Catcher' also has maple-cut leaves with purple shades throughout the growning season. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area and it will tolerate most soil types. 'Dream Catcher' looks wonderful with grasses or as a background plant. (PPAF)

The Hibiscus 'Eruption', grows to 3' in height and is perfectly names with its explosion of 8" hot pink flowers. It is one of the best bloomers in the Fleming Family of Hibiscus. The oak shaped leaves have purple castings which also make this variety quite unusual. The color of this flower must be seen to be believed.It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area and it will tolerate most soil types.
