The New Bradford Pear, 'Pyrus calleryana "Holmford", is a broad, oval tree with good branch angles. The branching is the major improvement over the Bradford pear. The Lavender Twist Weeping Redbud, 'Cercis canadensis "Covey", also known as Twisted Lavender Redbud, is a new variety of Redbud that is sure to attract the eye. The reddish-purple bud opens to a rosy lavender-pink flower in early spring. The umbrella shaped tree accentuates the weeping, twisted branches tipping towards the ground. They flower in early spring and bloom for 2 to 3 weeks. The shape of the fruit looks like a pea pod. The pods are 2-3'¥ and are brown. The seed pods develop in October and usually stay on throughout the winter and adding winter interest. Leaves are heart shaped, when emerging in the spring are reddish-purple changing to a dark lustrous green in the summer and then to a yellow fall color. This tree is a great specimen plant and perfect for a small protected area in the landscape.

The Green Mountain Sugar Maple, 'Acer saccharum "Green Mountain", is a very handsome deciduous tree with leathery leaves. This showy tree is upright and oval in shape. The Royal White Redbud, 'Cercis canadensis "Royal White", demostrates the most appealing feature of the redbud species with the showy, large white flowers in early spring. The Royal White Redbud is also a more compact tree than the Eastern Redbud. These trees are effective as a single specimen, in groupings, in a shrub border, and especially nice in woodland and naturalized type situations.It has large heart shaped leaves during the summer, and long seedpods in the fall. The Eastern Whitebud tree, Cercis canadensis alba, is best known for their profuse white pea-like flowers. The heart-shaped leaves of this redbud tree are 3-5" across and its fruit are brown flat pods about 2-3" long. The trunk of this small tree usually branches close to the ground resulting in a spreading flat-topped to rounded crown. Eastern Whitebud trees grow best in full sun to light shade with moist well-drained deep soil. This small deciduous tree is adaptable to other soil types but will not grow well in permanently wet or poorly drained soil. It is used as an ornamental or patio tree.
