The Eastern White Pine, Pinus Strobus, is a beautiful landscape pine widely used throughout much of North America. This evergreen conifer tree is a truly magnificent tree attaining a height of 80 feet at maturity with a diameter of two to three feet. It carries long, soft bluish green needles with large brown cones. Eastern White Pine trees are widely used as a screen or windbreak. It grows rapidly for a pine tree and is pyramidal shaped when young, becoming umbrella-shaped with age. The White Pine tree is long-lived and vigorous. The White Pine takes six to eight years to produce a six-foot tree on good sites. It grows best in full sun or partial shade and in ordinary soil. It can tolerate wet, swampy areas. Space 6 ft. apart for screening purposes. It is easily controlled, and is good for small properties as well as field plantings. Also widely used for Christmas trees and timber.

The Black Hills Spruce, Picea Glauca Var. densata, is noted for its dark green foliage and conical form. Black Hills Spruce trees are very dense and have a deep dark green color. It is a truly cold adapted tree and is very resistant to winter injury. It prefers rich moist soil in full sun, and also thrives in dry, well-drained sites. This evergreen conifer tree has a medium growth rate and requires little, if any, pruning. Deer dislike Black Hills Spruce. This tree is commonly used for windbreaks, privacy screens and accent plantings. It will reach a height of six feet in nine years on a good site.

The Colorado Blue Spruce tree, Picea Pungens, is a pyramidal shaped evergreen with steel blue foliage. It prefers heavier soils, full sun, and clean cultivation. Colorado Blue Spruce trees will reach a height of six feet in eight years on a good site, starting with a 2 year old seedling. The Blue Spruce is probably the most drought tolerant of all spruce trees. This evergreen conifer is widely used in windbreaks or as an ornamental yard tree. Not all plants will be blue. Each bundle will contain a mixture of blue, blue-green and green seedlings. A handsome ornamental specimen for use as a dense, colorful screen or windbreak. Space 6 ft. apart when used as a screen or windbreak.

The Flame Willow, 'Salix Willow', gets it's name from the stems that turn red in late fall and lasts until early spring. It grows multistemmed, more like a shrub, unless trained otherwise.The Flame willow is very hardy and responds well to pruning. Plant these as specimens or in a line along a border. They grow fast and can be planted as privacy screens where the fall color will be fabulous!

The Navajo Peking Willow, Salix matsudana 'Navajo', is also known as Globe Willow because of its distinctly round form. The tree looks as if it's been sheared into a perfect ball. -áIt is well known for its fast growth and adaptability to a wide range of soil conditions. This is one Willow that can take drought, so it is popular in hot and drier areas. Fast growth and weak wood mean that the plant should be pruned regularly to avoid breakups in wind storms. The flowers are catkins produced early in the spring. It is a species of willow native to northwestern China.

The Pygmy Globe, Thuja occidentalsis, is a globe shaped dwarf arborvitae tree. These Arborvitae trees have bright green foliage. This slow compact growing evergreen tree does not need to be sheared to maintain the globe shape. The Pygmy Globe tree or shrub thrives in full sun or light shade. It has great appeal as a specimen planting or as an accent shrub in a yard or garden area.

The Pyramidalis arborvitae, Thuja occidentalis, is a tall, slender and compact grower. This evergreen conifer tree is ideal for entrance or corner plantings. The columnar habit of Pyramidalis arborvitae trees makes it an attractive tree for use as a screen or hedge. The bright green foliage is attractive all year. This evergreen species grows best in fertile, well-drained but moist soil, in full sun to light shade. Arborvitae will grow well in both an acidic or alkaline soil. Pruning is seldom required due to the dense growth habit. The moderate growth rate provides an attractive accent tree for your landscaping plans.

The Pygmy Globe Arborvitae, Thuja occidentalis 'Pygmy Globe', is a dwarf, globe-shaped evergreen with bright green foliage that grows slowly and is very compact. It needs no shearing to maintain its form, this arborvitae makes an excellent, low maintenance foundation plant or dwarf hedge.

The Royalty Crabapple Tree, Malus 'Royalty', is an outstanding variety with single, dark red blossoms in spring that produce large, dark red fruit in the fall. The new foliage is a glossy rich purple with a green undercast, turning purple-green in mid-summer and brilliant purple in the fall. This very hardy, blight resistant crabapple has outstanding foliage with the leaves having a bright, varnished appearance and nice purple fall color . It prefers full sun and moist, well drained soil. This upright, vigorous growing tree provides three-season interest for visual enjoyment. Crabapples require little pruning once established. In late winter, prune dead, diseased, and broken branches and trim off any sprouts that arise at the base of the tree.

The Spring Bride Crabapple Tree, Malus 'Spring Bride'Ö, produces double white blossoms each spring. The flower stalks are short and follow the branch structure closely, creating a garland of white flowers. The Spring Bride will produce very little fruit and maybe none. This hardy variety came from Canada . Its shower of white flowers is an eyecatcher. This deciduous tree is fast-growing, with an upright form and reaches about 25 feet at maturity. The branch structure provides interesting forms in winter. Select a site with full sun and well-drained soil. Crabapples require little pruning once established. In late winter, prune dead, diseased, and broken branches and trim off any sprouts that arise at the base of the tree.

The Bitternut Pecan tree, Carya brownii, is a large pecan hickory. It is also called , bitternut hickory, bitternut, bitter pecan tree, bitter pignut, butternut, butternut hickory, highland hickory, pig hickory, pignut, pignut hickory, pig walnut, redheart hickory,swamp hickory, white hickory, and yellow bud hickory. Bitternut hickory trees are the shortest lived of the hickories, living to about 200 years. This deciduous species has wood that is dark brown close-grained. The hardwood is highly shock resistant which makes it excellent for tools. It also makes good fuel wood and is planted as an ornamental. It is a fast growing good shade tree.

The Jane Magnolia tree, Magnolia x Jane, is a rounded, shrubby plant producing flowers in late spring that resemble slender tulips. The blooms are reddish-purple outside and white inside. Flowers open just before the leaves appear, making a superb display. Jane Magnolia trees are strong, vigorous, upright growers and are distinguished by their beautifully shaped, extremely fragrant large flowers opening in early May.
